
Terms and Policies
EGG COLORS- My easter egger and olive egger flock roosters have been DNA tested to provide the best possible egg color prediction; however, I cannot guarantee any egg color results from any variety of chicken. Nature likes to play tricks on even the best prepared chicken keepers.
EGG FERTILITY is tested in each coop at least once a month as I hatch eggs monthly. These are the exact same flocks of chickens you’ll get your hatching eggs from. If I have questionable fertility in a group, I make them unavailable until the issue is resolved. Please note: you cannot determine if an egg was fertilized after starting the incubation process due to the blastoderm being altered in 99+ degree temperatures. There will no longer be a “bulls eye” even in fertilized eggs, once incubated. My eggs are collected daily and I do not package eggs older than 3 days old unless you specifically contact me and tell me otherwise.
PRE-ORDERS- These orders will be filled in the order in which they are received AND the availability of breeds ordered. Orders are filled as soon as possible but please be aware that you may be waiting days, weeks, or months for your order to be filled. I cannot control how many eggs my chickens lay each week and therefore can not control how fast orders are filled. Feel free to contact me and ask me how long the wait list might be. I suggest you do this before placing your deposit so you are not disappointed if you are months out. Remember, this is a non-refundable deposit.
There are no refunds, the deposits are non-refundable. I can always reschedule your order for a different time, but you MUST communicate this with me. If I do not reach you by email and/or phone within 72 hours, I will move on to the next order. You can reach back out to have your name added back to a list at a later date.
SHIPPING EGGS:
I do my best to pack shipped eggs as carefully as I can, however, the postal service is not kind or easy on shipped eggs. So many things can happen to affect the fertility of each egg. My boxes are well marked “fragile” with red stickers on all sides but they still get thrown, stacked, flipped, sent through x-ray, flight cabin pressure, and endure extreme temperatures. I am happy to ship eggs, but I need to know that you understand these risks. I do not guarantee eggs once they have left my hands. If you have a bad experience with your package I strongly urge you to file a report/start a dispute with the USPS because I do not guarantee hatchability once the eggs have left my care. Make sure to take pictures to attach to your dispute with the USPS.
*I will reach out to you by email and/or phone prior to your order being ready. If I do not speak with you or hear back from you within 72 hours, I will be moving on to the next order! If I do reach you, Ill take final payment by invoice and we will discuss details of shipping or pickup. The post office will also contact you once they have arrived. You will pick them up from your post office! They will not be delivered directly to your home.

I highly recommend you do some homework before receiving shipped eggs. There are a lot of great facebook groups and websites that provide special information to help your shipped eggs hatch after their difficult journey.
